I received the bead breaker today (Sunday). In addition Canada Post only delivered 1 of the 2 packages sent by Kapsco.....

Tried to assemble product - no instructions provided and this has been noted by previous purchaser of this product.

Used the website picture to assemble (try to assemble).
The welded tangs for braces from top to bottom rings are welded at random angles.
One of the tangs is welded upside down so the holes do not line up at all, ad this particular tang is probably 10 - 15 degrees inwards compared to the rest.

Another review states "great idea", I would say it's the thought that counts.

This is my first purchase from Kapsco, Venom has set the standard of the quality of products Kapsco chooses to carry/represent.

I will call Monday to try and resolve the issues.

The idea is great, It comes with clear and detailed instructions on assembly of product, but not how to use it. obviously if your ordering one, you have some idea just by looking at it, but there is one peg that sits through the handle area that I have no idea what its for. Plus the product doesn't come with rim guards or prybars, you'll need to find and purchase your own, I suggest princessauto. I found a 2 foot and 16 inch flat with slight curled end just like I used when working in a tireshop. As for rim guards I made two out of 3/8" clear polyethylene tubing cut to 8 inch pieces and sliced vertically down the center. Also made one for the shovel on the breaker just in case.

Can't believe I've been struggling with tires all these years. This tool really helps. But...needed to add some rubber (used a bicycle inner tube) to the upper ring, to stop it from damaging rims. The four supplied plastic bits aren't any good at all. Also, the securing bolt doesn't fit all axle sizes. Easy fix, I have spare axles that worked in its place.

Bad packaging of the products. Many scratches on each parts.
Threaded rod too short, need to replace it.
No holes to fix the tool, needed to drill holes myself.
Assembly was easy and quick.

The ring is not rubber coated. I taped it to make sure i didn't ruin my wheels. The center rod is a bit small and the bolt will dent your wheel center. Unusable. i'll have to get a big washer to protect it. Be also careful if you have a side oriented valve; there is no room for it. I totally bended mine... It's cheaper than other model but you get what you pay for...

Front axel diameter is 14mm, the post on this product is 15mm. Arrrrg!!!!! Rear axel 17mm, ok. Have to go to local machine shop and shave it down or punch out the bearings.
